davemerrillThe seminal Japanese cartoon Speed Racer turns fifty this year, and that means it's time for Gen-X kids such as myself to begin saying "fifty years old? Why it seems like just yesterday..."
Back when the live-action Wachowski siblings' film came out, I wrote a big piece about Speed Racer for Otaku USA, and I've since re-jiggered it slightly and it's up at Let's Anime!
