get ready for amazing alien invasion action as Zetora, the Martian invader, wreaks havoc in a real space-filler of a story that works on almost no levels except comedy!

it's all happening at Mister Kitty's Stupid Comics!!

Also I want to say, calling this a 'stupid' comic may be a bit unfair. It's goofy but it's so sincere. Those frames with Martian Vs. irate commuters is just stunning commentary of the times.

Maybe.

Was there anything else starring this guy? I could see a 'part three' where he gets up and is all "AHHHH, I was just tired! I did not plan for how my body would adapt to this world's gravity!" or some bullpucky.

Marvel Studios should do a movie or Netflix series about him.

Well, it's stupid for several reasons. First off, it's a sequel to a story that was all about "the Martian has stolen my body, please believe me", that abandons that entirely to have the Martian suddenly remember he's bigger and stronger than everybody. I mean, they led him away in handcuffs at the end of the first story. it's like Rocky 2 if in the opening scene Rocky remembers he can punch people. Secondly, the story is "Martian walks to New York, dies." I mean, that's it. No scientist trying to stop him, none of the B-plot that usually even the most inane Marvel monster book would throw in to liven things up. Thirdly the ending is such a bare-faced rip off of War Of The Worlds that it isn't even funny, and there isn't even a wink to let the readers know that THEY know that they know. Not even a "You're right, Dr. Wells!", not even that. Fourthly, most of the art is Kirby but when Dick Ayers had to fill in the giant blank spots that Kirby left, it's pretty obvious; and that's nitpicky on my part but man, there are things Ayers was good at and this kind of stuff wasn't it.

The whole thing, though, is almost redeemed by that scene with the commuters. That's coming from a very real place. More like that, guys.
