With the help of a scholarly paper and the assistance of Wednesday over in Vermont, I finished the new Let's Anime column, the last of the year, all about the Christian anime series Superbook and Flying House! It's an amazing journey with a bunch of kids, some robots, a flying house, Pat Robertson, Tatsunoko Animation Company, and the ad agencies that brought them all together.

That's a damn good article. That should be in a magazine or something.

Hey, I wonder if you could pitch that to Otaku USA, make a regular column out of it. Getting paid for stuff you've already written would be nice.

But then again, there's that nagging problem of what happens when publishing outstrips inventory. Then it becomes a JOB, not just 're-purpose to make some cash' stuff.

I've come close to pitching this to ANN a few times. I don't know that the money would be worth giving up editorial control, though, and their deadlines are *tight*.

At some point I'll probably make a book out of it and sell that.
