davemerrillAny time you plan a trip to the other side of the world there's a lot of research and investigation you need to get done. And I can't think of a better way than through comics. Especially these comics!
Who needs expensive guidebooks and maps? Let Stupid Comics be your guide to the mysterious East.
So far, apart from getting Stupid Comics done a day late, we've got our tix and our hotel reservations, new gadgetry, a vague idea of what we're doing when we're there, a new messenger bag for me to keep my sketchbook and camera in, I got a haircut, and this weekend I will probably get new shoes which is something I should have done the last trip. I did the math and we're taking a cab to the airport, which is cheaper than parking. I feel like a real sophisticated world traveller, taking a cab to the airport. "The airport - and step on it!" I'll say.
I'm going to do a Zero Fighter strip on Sunday and that'll be it from me until the middle of August. Shain still has a backlog of Element Of Surprise strips so you might be seeing some updates of that in the meantime. I have no such backlog of strips, I'm livin' life on the edge.
