I guess I'd have to use another image then, because it's pretty obvious that it's a man in the Minky Momo outfit, and that's the appeal of the photo. That's the joke- those are, in fact, man hands.
This being Canada, I'm fairly sure I'll be informed pretty rapidly if any transgendered people are offended by my flyer. And yes, I do know trans people, and no, none of them have expressed any dismay over this flyer.
I don't personally believe it's likely to cause offense, and wouldn't deliberately create a flyer that would seek to insult any person or group. You'd have to stretch things pretty far to take this flyer personally, I think.
as i said you can make the determination. and i may have been being a bit more sensitive last night due to the whole amendement 1 thing, honestly. but thought it was worth pointing out.
