I don't know that there's any way to stop this sort of thing, other than by putting (C) DAVID MERRILL in every paragraph. The content harvesters are legion. When this happened before it was attached to a Google blog, and they're pretty tough about DCMA notices, but this one isn't going through any service. It may actually be a waste of time to fight them.
