Take a trip to outer space with Raggedy Ann and Andy in a very special STUPID COMICS that will bring you to the brink of lunar-exploration SPACE MADNESS.

Today; cleaning house, drawin' comics, might see a movie tonight, might go shopping, I dunno. After Frank Miller's OWS statements I am forced to admit that I don't want his work in the house any more, so my trades of DKR and GML are going to BMV, ASAP. Well maybe not ASAP but PDQ, anyways. The Daredevil issues I have will probably get sold on eBay or something, one of them is signed. Just get 'em outta the house. And you know, there are plenty of authors whose personal feelings and political leanings I totally disagree with, but when you look at a body of work going back 20 years and realize that it all pretty much is agenda-driven, suddenly you feel like a sap for making excuses for so long. Anyway, yeah, cleanin' house.

I don't recall ever reading Miller's Daredevil books- it wasn't a series I ever followed.

That said, I can easily imagine Miller wanting to do a new Kingpin title in which Wilson Fisk goes straight, TOTALLY straight, only to be pestered by those annoying 99-percenters Daredevil and Spiderman who don't like how he runs his profitable, legal enterprises...

The Kingpin- superhero for the corporate elite.

OK, so the bit where the astronaut is smacked in the back and crumples face-first to the ground is actually really funny. It just needs his dialogue balloon rewritten to something like a punctuationless "oof" to achieve maximum comics slapstick potential.

I just knew there was something else to despise Frank Miller for besides SIN CITY, but I never could quite put my finger on exactly what it was up until he opened his mouth. Thanks, Frank!

A thread of real fascism started to creep into his work right around DKR... effete liberals and intellectuals should stand aside and let the REAL MEN solve the world's problems through FORCE- that really reached a pinnacle of sorts in 300. I think in the Dark Knight you could say "hey, he's just taking the superhero concept to its extreme" but it's harder to do that with, say, GIVE ME LIBERTY.
