Some things we're up to for the rest of the season...
July 30-31 is Con Bravo in Burlington, just down the road from Toronto and just across the bridge from Hamilton. Shain and I will be doing a LIVE "Stupid Comics" presentation!! Also appearing: The Nostalgia Critic, a clutch of video game podcasters/reviewers, and a gaggle of cosplayers. The con has moved to a new hotel and as it was fun last year I can't help but think it'll be fun this year.
This is ALSO the same weekend as Kempenfest in Barrie, and some kind of rave thing at the Doubletree. Everything happens at once.
September 10 is the SF Flea Market, to benefit the Friends of the Merril Collection of the Toronto Public Library. It'll be at the main reference library (where TCAF was held in May). Our table is reserved and I can guarantee there will be some pretty nifty stuff for you to buy.
This weekend is Polaris, and I think the Fan Expo is on Labor Day, but so far I've managed to avoid those shows and it doesn't seem to have affected my appetite whatsoever.
AWA is Sept. 30- Oct. 2.
I don't know when the Fantasia festival is, I don't know what they're showing, and I don't know if I'll even be able to go. My work schedule is going to be all over the map for the next two months.

Date: 2011-07-11 06:45 pm (UTC)I have no idea when I'll see you next. Hopefully Mike will be able to sneak into AWA for at least a few hours at some point, but if the timing goes as we suspect I'll be at Northside or at home for pretty much the whole con.

Date: 2011-07-12 03:24 pm (UTC)I would definitely watch TALES OF AN ANCIENT EMPIRE, but there is no way I am sitting through that 1990 Captain America movie again. Even the Reb Brown TV specials are better.
