Odds and ends of goofy panels culled from hither and yon make up this week's STUPID COMICS as Captain America digs far out fantasy, Stan Lee has a special offer for you, Veronica goes gaga over model trains, and Smurfs go to Hell. No, seriously!!

You must not miss this week's installment! Or you might have to look at it next week, or something.

BIG PLANS FOR THE LONG WEEKEND: It's "Family Day" in Ontario and that means I get Monday off. Big plans include... um... I dunno, the weather's warmed up, that's a good thing.

THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE SMURFS:

Which is why I'm glad there's now a US Publisher for these books, Peyo's integrity will finally get some due!

So if we can't crash parties, what ARE bored teens to do with their time?

Yeah Superman, what are they gonna do? You certainly didn't think that far ahead!

Oddly (?) enough, that wasn't the only time Cap mentioned the well-known author of "Leaf By Niggle." There was a story in the late 60s where he worried about being seen as unhip for defending the establishment; but he pondered that it was the same establishment that gave the youth "Tolkien...McLuhan...and a couple of brothers...named Kennedy!"
