Spent most of the weekend moving stuff around in the studio, taking apart one of the shelves and re-configuring it, filling and drilling holes. There's still a stack of stuff in the hallway I need to find places for. The circular saw produces a surprising amount of sawdust and is pretty noisy, but boy does it cut that wood! I celebrated my new studio space by batting out another Zero Fighter strip, which made me realize I need to get some new brushes.

We went to the comic show on Sunday and the pickin's were middlin'. I did get a DeCarlo "My Friend Irma", another Hartley Jesus book (this one with a patriotic theme) and a Classics Illustrated with a funny defaced cover. Barely any Harveys, and Shain already had every "House Of Mystery" and "Unexpected" we saw. The one in April should be bigger, we'll sock away some cash for it.

I kept my tradition alive of not paying any attention whatsoever to the Super Bowl. Some people forget our traditions, but not me! I'm lookin' forward to the Captain America movie, though. It has the Howling Commandos in it!!

It's nice to know America has its priorities straight, though. $450,000 for jets to overfly the stadium - the stadium with its roof closed so nobody could see it! The one-and-a half billion dollar stadium built in a state that has to cut its education budget because there's no money. Go pro sports! Go away and never come back!
