Somehow, because the hen says "a pain" instead of just "pain," it makes it seem all the more surreal. WTF. Just... wow. Hehe

...did I ever tell you about the time my father was given a pamphlet from a hardcore hippy-vegan group explaining how egg laying HURTS hens and causes them TERRIBLE PAIN OH THE HORRORS? He kind of laughed a little bit and said, "Son, do you realize that even if I let my chickens run wild, they'd lay eggs anyway? They do it anyway, all the time. All I do as a farmer is collect the eggs from underneath them AFTER they've laid them." Of course, the guy had nothing to say in response as I doubt he even knew how chickens' bodies work. XD

We used to raise chickens in our backyard and I can remember the days of going back there and doing the same thing farmers had been doing for hundreds of thousands of years!
