They're back and this time they are in the company of Wendy The Redesigned Good Little Witch!!

It's a juxtaposition of teen idols and preteen witchery at today's Stupid Comics. It's like Twilight, only twenty years earlier, and not as annoying!

Plus, at NO EXTRA CHARGE, the Six Million Dollar Man has TWO MORE ADVENTURES - presented to you by popular demand! Get bionic at Found Sound!

Yeah, we know it's late. Been a crazy week. On the other hand right now the weather is gorgeous, a perfect indian summer day, and the guy in 505 is doing something on a manual typewriter. Tonight it's THE H-MAN at The Trash Palace and I already have tickets!! Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving and then Tuesday I get some fillings replaced at the dentist. Wheee!

and then go outside and play.

Felt like I needed to be told that soon enough or I'd just go mad staying indoors listening to records all day long!

On the comic front, it wasn't a bad story itself (besides being it's own silly mess), also quite a nice little departure for Wendy as well (if not resembling something out of a rival comic).

OK, what the hell did they do to Wendy? She looks like....I dunno, Cyndi Lauper or something.

I be illin', it's completely wack. word.

It was an ill-considered redesign. Once you take her out of the Enchanted Forest she just becomes a younger version of Sabrina The Teenage Witch.

Pretty much how I felt, it just wasn't so much Wendy as it felt more pre-teen Sabrina to me. There's a few people out there that apparently like the version of Wendy seen in the recent "Casper and the Spectrals" comics, though it's a little out of my league!

Oh, I love "The H Man". It's like a police procedural that suddenly takes a good hop into SF ranmdomness. "Hello, I'm with the National Bureau of Radiation ... "

I hadn't seen it before; it's a slow starter but it has a nice wrapup and some surprisingly eerie effects when people start meltin'. Also, 1950s Tokyo, always good.
