back from the show!

All done for another year. I know I'm biased but it seemed to me that it went really really well. None of the crazy bad stuff that went down at other big Atlanta shows recently, attendance was up, staff was on the ball, people seemed to have a good time. I spent most of Sunday afternoon having people tell me what a great show it was. The message board seems to be full of compliments. The events I participated in were well-attended and seemed to be pretty successful. I actually found interesting junk to buy, so even though I got rid of a bunch of junk at the SHFS I guess things evened out.

Victory!

Now you have to start blocking out an event for the showing of the live action Yamato movie, as I expect it should be out on DVD and BD in time for AWA.

Well, not YOU per se, somebody.

Best AWA ever from my perspective, mainly because this is the first one where I've not gone to meeting after meeting and gotten stressed out before, during and after the con and the first one in recent memory where I don't walk away from it on Monday wondering if fighting 14-year-olds on 4chan who are DDOSing the con website about the costume contest is worth it.

It isn't. Not to me.

Drove past the con Saturday on my way somewhere else. That was close enough. :)
