AN OPEN LETTER TO TEENAGERS EVERYWHERE.



This was found in a book circa 1990 and we distributed it via photocopy, and I didn't keep a copy and for years I was like, man, I have to find that "Open Letter To Teenagers" and luckily I wrote a letter to Shaindle on the back of one of them around that time, and Shain kept it. And here it is. Now GO READ A GOOD BOOK!

Nearly half of those suggestions can't be done by the common teenager, who lives in an apartment.

Where's "Take out the garbage?" or "Clean your room?"
man the classics were left off!

Well, it dates from the era when only middle-class people counted. Hence "assist the poor" - what if the kid _is_ the poor, hmm?

What makes it kinda sad is that someone, somewhere, thought addressing anybody like that would actually work.
