Haven't posted in a few days, been busy. But I'll MAKE the time, darn it! Because if I don't, then you won't see Cotton Candy Robot.

He's ready to give you cotton candy from his hollow innards. Well, okay, he's ready to be wheeled somewhere, and the cord around his neck makes him look like he's attempted suicide. But rest assured he's emotionally prepared, at least, to give cotton candy joy to children dressed in off-color Yamato outfits.

Here's a photo of our new drapes!

You can see Kitty on her house, glaring at the camera, over in the corner. Also new is our loft bed:

Studies have shown that sleeping seven feet off the ground helps to protect against the harmful effects of floor-based electromagnetic radiation, and the north-south orientation aligns our chakras with the universal energy meridians, which in turn protect against boogeymen, spooks and "haints". Because you don't want them around when you're sleeping.

STUFF I BOUGHT AT TCAF: A set of Colin Upton's "Diabetes" mini comics, the second Fletcher Hanks book, the new Tales Designed to Thrizzle, Jason Thompson's KING OF RPGs, and the tabloid-sized REAL DEAL COMICS, which is an amazing piece of work and completely unsuitable for just about everybody. I believe in places it might violate Canadian hate crime laws. TCAF was great for the forty-five minutes we were there - they used a lot more of the library's space so things weren't nearly as jammed as they were last year. Upstairs got a lot more use, there's a huge space up there I didn't even know existed. I should have a little more time to enjoy the show next year as I have made arrangements to prioritize my committments to resynergize the action plan and take ownership of my core competencies, facilitating a infrastructure-based initiative that will impact productively my transitioning into value-added, mission-critical leveraging of my knowledge transfer integration.

There is also a new ZERO FIGHTER. There will be updates of everything this week, and probably next week, but the week after that is Anime North and you probably won't be seeing any updates that week. And maybe the week after that if I feel like taking time off...er, I mean, if I feel like exploring new paradigms in lesiure time acquisition and usage.

You could host a show with those drapes! :-)

Yeah, they turned out to give off more of a movie theater vibe than I thought they would, but that's a good thing.

It has to be! They resemble the way I first saw E.T. on the big screen 28 years ago at a theater that had drapes that opened and closed automatically during the film! Nobody's not going to be given that sort of treatment anymore in today's digitally projected world.

Robot cotton candy looks amazing, but...how does that work? the making of cotton candy is a manual intensive action, I can't wrap my mind around some form of automation that can vend that.

Also your bizspeak paragraph: I fear you've been glancing too much at the product you're printing! Snap out of it! Otherwise you'll end up actualizing your veeberblatz and frommeting your splurk!

Drapes are great.

Kitty loves being higher than all, because she is queen of all!

Sadly, the truth is that normally when you hear about either magnetic lines of healing or formalizing your synergistic boundaries, the speaker is dead serious. Hard to keep a straight face.

But remember, your high bed makes you a perfect target for imperial stormtroopers or A-team villians.

That's the Bram and Bluma Appel Salon which only opened under a year ago. It gives the Ref Library a lot more event room.
