Oh wow, I had the same set I bought from Cumberland Mall when I was teeny. I remember it came with a small booklet that I think was entirely in Japanese with a bunch of pictures of other toys. I still have all four of these guys, although the Tactical Pod Glaug fella is missing an arm.
