Once more to the well of showing just how cheaply content can be provided for comics today; Mr Kitty's Stupid Comics is a clear example of the proper use of the stat camera and the art archive in filling a few extra pages in the back of a romance comic.



Just update the hairstyles, clothes, and occasionally the ethnic background of the characters, and voila! A "new" story. A panel-to-panel comparision highlighting the MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE FACING OUR MODERN WORLD TODAY, at Mister Kitty!!

We have the stairs to the loft bed assembled. Today the plan is to put the box together. Later (tomorrow, maybe) legs will be attached and we will somehow raise the entire thing up in the air, possibly using supernatural forces. And when we're not doing THAT we will go outside and enjoy this lovely weather!

God if I knew it was that easy I'd get in the comic publishing biz too! What's next, outsourcing to India? :-)

As long as you can run a stat camera and a waxer and can handle an X-acto without cutting your fingers off, you will always have a job in the comic book industry! Oh yeah, you will also need a time machine set for 1972.

I'm good with X-actos! Of course I'd be wanting to do about updating this for the 2010's, and it's the girl committing suicide anyway (since true love is an illusion anyway).

Thinking about the change done to the Estelle character in the stories, why would it seem interesting to have the '72 Black Estelle telling exclaiming "Cry, Lynn... d-d-don't just s-s-stand there... as if... as if you're made of steel... cry--cry--!" (not sure why I find that interesting, but if you wanted to mix things up in this mash-up, you might get a gem out of it)
