In honor of the upcoming Earth Day, in which -I PREDICT- plants and animals will rise up against Man in an orgy of destruction, Mr Kitty presents some examples of the manly art of recycling. Namely, recycling comic book plots!

What's most amazing to me is not only were both Millie stories drawn by Stan Goldberg, I bought them both from the same guy on the same day. See new depths of comic book writer lazy today at Mister Kitty's Stupid Comics!!

It's the weekend and that means I have to catch up on all the stuff I didn't get done last weekend because I was working all the time. The place needs a cleaning, we need to clear some space for the professional installers to install the professional drapes (no more rickety ladders for me, at least not until we paint), I have some shelves to put together and some comic books to put away. I also have an article to finish which I really should get done.

It's at that time of the year when Anime North is looming ahead and off in the distance AWA is starting to peek over the horizon and say "hay guyz". And I really haven't done a lot of work for either other than a few emails. To be fair most of the stuff I need to do for Anime North is dependent upon information I don't have yet, so I shouldn't feel like I'm being lazy. And it's not even April yet. But soon it will be! Don't slack off Dave! Take it one step at a time! Step one - finish this LJ post!! Can I do it? Okay, a little trim here, let me fix this, brush that off.. done!

Noticing the Richie Rich comics in particular, it's interesting how they went from a four-fingered Rich in '62 to a five-fingered Rich in the 70's. It's not that big 'o deal, but it's interesting to see the slight changes in style/design over the years.
