Lois Lane, Girl Reporter, finds herself engaged YET AGAIN in a story that shows us her ability to distinguish between suitable suitors is greatly diminished. Maybe she should try to go a month or so without promising to marry anybody.

It's all happening in the current installment of the popular STUPID COMICS feature brought to you every week by Mister Kitty! Sponsored by Betty Jean's Bridal Fashions, Main Street Flowers, Zippy Caterers Inc., and Smith, Smith, Smith and Jones, Attorneys At Law (specialists in divorce cases involving spacemen)!

by the way, is it just us, or is LJ a little slow today?

questions this comic raises

1. Are superhero outfits like military uniforms, where they are considered suitable formal/semiformal dress for weddings?

2. If he bought it at the Android Manufacturing Center, is that like a factory outlet store, where the android would have slight cosmetic defects or overruns? Or is it more a factory direct purchase, where he contracts with them to buy a bespoke android? Can you buy from the Android Manufacturing Center at a discount and then make a vacation of it to take your android home, like you can if you buy a BMW straight from the source in Munich?

You go right down to the factory and pick it up, it's cheaper that way. (Johnny Cash)

So he worked at the Android Manufacturing Center for years, each day smuggling out another part?

It think this comic reveals more about the age it was made and the men who made it then anything else...

I wonder if this is where Superman got the idea for all the robot Supermen. And maybe the guys who wrote this could sue the people who did the recent "Surrogates" film.

I would come up with something to say, but my brain hurts.

OK, that comic was lame (in the good Stupid Comics way) for like the first 90%, but the ending was actually pretty great.

It's a nice ending that wrap things up in a nice package for all (if you don't think too hard on it).

Yeah, see, the thing of it is, this is directly analogous to the World of Warcraft/MMO weddings of today.

THE FUTURE IS NOW.

soooo, should we take from this that Lois has daddy issues? Handsome, studly and older looking? Or does that white hair mean 'alien'?

Supes was looking a bit thick in some of the frames. Time to get the Super-Total Gym out.

Is it just me or did this comic seem somehow like an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation?
