Oct. 5th, 2018 08:33 amBack from the show, actually been a week or so.
crowds for Miyavi:

meeting an idol:

signing some zines I worked on:

havin' a thing

I was worried about, you know, getting old and not being able to keep up with the everything, but I did OK. Saw a bunch of friends, didn't spend too much money, sold a lot of stuff at the SHFS, the biggest SHFS problem was something I did myself screwing around with Excel. Glad it's over, I worry about the show way out of proportion. It's huge and even though they say we did 700 fewer people than last year it felt more crowded. I think it's peaked. I think all anime cons have peaked. We'll see, I guess.
Hey
belecrivain I know you're working on a DDR thing, well, the person I know who's the biggest DDR fan is Tracy Ward who is a Tech Supervisor at AWA and is the person that makes AWA run perfectly. I don't have an email but she's at FB: https://www.facebook.com/tracy.c.ward.2 and is https://twitter.com/thecoderjo at Twitter. Likely a valuable DDR info resource, much better than me, that's for sure.
Anyway, it's October now, things have cooled off a little, I'm settling in for a fall of getting back to my regularly scheduled nonsense. Might be in Boston for US Thanksgiving (Canadian Thanksgiving is this Monday and we'll be here, eating turkey & watching cartoons).
