Tomorrow we're gonna load the car up and head down to Atlanta for a little Christmas vacation; we'll be there until Jan. 2, at which point we head back to Toronto. Weather looks like it's going to cooperate. We got some Serious Winter here in the past few weeks, but I think the first wave has passed and things are getting a little more seasonal. Like, freezing, not ten below freezing.
No new Stupid Comics for the rest of the year, the last Let's Anime of the year has already been posted, and I finally have gotten back to work on my WWII story. We watched the first Gundam: Origin and liked it a lot, we have not seen THE ARRIVAL or ROGUE ONE but we're gonna hit the movies while on vacation. Honestly, since MOB PSYCHO 100 finished we haven't been keeping up with Japanese anime. There's a new season of ATTACK ON TITAN starting next year so I suppose we'll start watching that again. It's been a while, I hope I can get back up to speed.
I'm working my way through the first volume of Shelby Foote's Civil War and it's really entertaining reading about a war that took place all around where I grew up, but apart from what happened to Georgia we never really got a "big picture" education of the war from a strategic and tactical standpoint.
Last week I had what I hope was my last dermatologist appointment. I think they finally got all of that wart off my foot. It certainly was the most painful appointment to date; I am still feeling this one. I used my last sick day at work for the appointment and spent the rest of the day with my foot up, and spent the next five days limping and wincing. If I don't see any evidence of the wart in January I'm going to consider myself healed and cancel that last appointment, as they suggested.
It honestly feels like Thanksgiving was last week. The end of the year has been a real whirlwind. I got all my shopping done, the new car radio is working as it's supposed to, we have a lot of podcasts and music lined up for the trip, looking forward to hitting the open road and listening to far-away AM radio and enjoying the slightly warmer GA weather.

Happy Holidays from the Electronic Space Family - and us!
