December already!
Dec. 1st, 2014 11:29 amYes sir it's wintertime. What have we been up to? Did a little park walking yesterday while things warmed up a bit. I finished this week's Zero Fighter, which is on course to be completed before the end of the year. We watched teensploitation film "Riot On The Sunset Strip" and TV movie rural-horror reverse Stepford Wives "The Secret Of Harvest Home" starring Bette Davis and a trailer compilation, and have been trying to get our new keyboard remote to work with our new MyGica box that streams videos & Netflix.
The newest Stupid Comics is an educational thing from a 1940s issue of "Catholic Comics" all about how microwave tight-beam transmission will eliminate telephone and telegraph wires forever. And that's just what it did! How many telegraph wires have you seen recently?

Right when I posted the last Let's Anime, somebody at Fark linked to an old column about the film Jack & The Witch, which resulted in a pretty big spike there for a day or so. Who knew Fark was still a thing, he said while posting on Livejournal?
Oh yeah, found this in a thrift store for five bucks.

Kind of makes up for the outrageous pricing I've seen for toys of this vintage recently, I think. We'll likely hit a bunch of antique malls on our way south for Xmas, but it will be hard to beat a find like this.
