Nov. 25th, 2014 06:05 pmYes, I did change my LJ theme. Why not? The old one was kinda boring. Nope, I don't have a paid account, I'm using the free ones and I'm not spending two seconds customizing anything about 'em. Oh noes.
Yes, I did post a new Let's Anime column! If I get two more done this year I will be at parity with 2013, which is all I really want, really. Anyway this one is all about counting down the ten biggest hits in the fifty classic-anime states with ten songs that are covers of anime theme songs or are inspired by anime characters or in some way became inextricably linked with anime in the public imagination. Just go with it.
I was pleasantly surprised to find youtube videos for all the songs I wanted to include, so if you want to spend a half-hour or so listening to tunes, now's your chance!
An old column I wrote about 'Jack And The Witch' got mentioned on Fark early Monday, so things kinda spiked like crazy there for a bit. Nice to see that one getting more eyeballs, it's a pretty good article if I say so myself, even if it does have a few typos and format errors. Who knew Fark was still a thing?
