I worked last Sunday and I'm going to work tomorrow so it's been kinda busy at work. The temperature has warmed up a little and is supposed to be sunny and in the 40s on Sunday, which is a heat wave for us these days, it being a horrifying Arctic hell-scape for the past couple of months. What a winter. Oh yeah there was a fire.
This was north of us a couple of miles, a factory at Dufferin & Eglinton in a six-alarm blaze that put out a lot of smoke.
Meanwhile over at Mister Kitty we have been updating stuff like crazy. The newest Stupid Comics is a Captain America story from "All Winners" #5 which will likely never be reprinted as it has borderline racist caricature of the Japanese, a befanged Oriental vampire who lusts after the blood of American army officers, and Captain America and Bucky shirtless in bed together.
Zero Fighter continues every week, Georgie Girls is about love, death, friendship, and Devilman body pillows, and Behind The Blue Door is a meditation on the theme of sock-puppet snake hypnosis. I'm at the stage with Zero Fighter where I was in the last 20 or so pages of Ozone Commandos, ready to get this thing done with and on to the next project. Which I have lined up and waiting in the bullpen, ready to go to bat!
