your week in sound and images
Jan. 17th, 2014 12:02 pmThis week delivers a rich harvest of bountiful goodness as Mr Kitty works hard to throw a little light into musty, forgotten corners of our shared cultural inheritance.

Our musical salute to Ed McMahon continues with his renditions of "My Funny Valentine" and "Thank Heaven For Little Girls", one song is a beloved Rogers & Hart tune, the other a creepy thing by Lerner-Loewe that they probably didn't think was so creepy, except it's from Gigi, which is kinda creepy when you think about it.

Meanwhile Captain America teams up with four science-fair winners and two Campbell Kids to battle the forces of Energy Wasting! So put on a sweater, turn the thermostat down to 68 degrees, and let's go!
AND if you want to see real-life pointless fan debates rendered into comic strip form, look no further than Georgie Girls!! Then enjoy Zero Fighter and go Behind The Blue Door in a strip that shows influence of the GREATEST ARTISTIC MOVEMENT EVER. And then you're done. Mr Kitty is done with you.
