Hope everybody down South had a good Thanksgiving. I spent the day at work being psychically tortured by thoughts of giant turkey dinners with all the trimmings and eating until I couldn't move. It was terrible.

Anyway, for your turkey this year we have some tunes from the giant turkey George Lucas presented the world with in the form of a duck, Howard The Duck. I saw this movie in a theater and was really disappointed, but at the same time, I knew there was no way they'd make a decent film out of the comic book, and it's satisfying to see your suspicions confirmed, so I guess that's one good thing to come out of this film.

In terms of turkey comic books here's a romance story about a boy and a girl and another boy and a romance built almost entirely on good old fashioned lies and deceit, with a helpful element of writer confusion at the climax that makes the whole thing just a little more surreal.

It's late November so it cooled off and we got a little snow and boy, I'm glad I got the new tires on the car. Might spend some time this weekend at a top secret gathering of con chairs. Nope, not doing any mall shopping if I can help it. Sorry.
