this week's mister kitty
Apr. 7th, 2013 12:16 pmOur Found Sound this week is a single we picked up at Vortex Records on Yonge St, a great record store in a location that's tough to park at sometimes. But they have a lot of stuff and good prices and they're open late.

Got it mostly for the sleeve art; the actual music is pretty scratchy typical kids music, Peter Pan Records not being a prestige recording label.
Speaking of music, Stupid Comics features scenes from Harvey Pop Comics #1, The Cowsills! Yes, the Cowsills, America's Family Band, who had a string of late 60s folk-pop hits and of whom a documentary was made that's showing on Showtime right now. The documentary probably does not feature any scenes like this:

And of course Zero Fighter and Element Of Surprise are updating regularly every Sunday. I just bought some new brushes so I need to get to work on this week's strip, in addition to all the other things I need to get moving on. The next two months are generally the busiest time of the year for me, for some reason. At least it feels like the busiest.
