six million dollars was a lot of money
Aug. 26th, 2011 11:45 amToday Stupid Comics takes a bionic look at a super cyborg who was using his amazing powers to punch people and drive cars. So really, I don't know they were getting their six million dollars worth.

I don't know if any of you who grew up with this show have watched it recently, but I urge you do so... you will be amazed at how tedious the whole thing is. Slowly paced, badly acted, everything is shot on the Universal backlot, even tropical islands and African nations. Special effects are (a) noises and (b) slowing the film down. I'm shocked at how popular the show was. Meanwhile in Japan they were cranking out shows like KIKAIDA fifty times a week that were ten times as cheap and a hundred times more entertaining. Anyway, you may now get your bionic on with this comic book, which looks like it was drawn by three separate people and written by the William Burroughs cut-paste method. I read the thing several times and it still doesn't make any sense.
