oh dear canada
Jul. 1st, 2010 05:06 pmToday, because it's Canada Day,Found Sound presents some Canadian humorous - sorry, HUMOUROUS, sorry, songs by "The Brothers In Law" that take a satirical look at the important issues facing Canadians sometime in the mid 1960s. It's amazing that the Canadian flag, one of the most iconic, sharpest-looking flags in the world, was the flashpoint of controversy when it was introduced. But it was and we've got a song about it! Also a song about the RCMP, because when they aren't tracking down renegade loggers in the frozen North, they're spying on suspected commies. No, seriously. Tonight we're gonnna go down to the lakeshore and watch some fireworks, and in the meantime, enjoy these songs!
