Amazing new Stupid Comics is all British, all exciting Super Story Paper For Boys action as a wide variety of wide-awake British youth are put into situations of extreme danger and hardship, and yet come out on top because they're British. Except when they're killed and eaten by horrifying mythical beasts, but that happens sometimes.

This feature also stars Mick Fury, Agent of F.I.S.H.I.N.G.

Kind of a lost art, being able to tell a story in 2 or 4 pages.

That Palitoy ad, man, how's THAT for the giant circle of life!

See, Palitoy was of course a British company that licensed G.I Joe from Hasbro (as Action Man. Keep that in mind if you hear that name referenced in a British show, it's a '60s toy reference' and sometimes a slur, it's complicated :) ) and as time passed Palitoy introduced various enhancements that then Hasbro copied- Life-like hair, Kung-Fu Grip, Eagle Eyes, and Palitoy kept Action Man going when Hasbro gave up and killed the line in the '70s. Fast Forward to those self-same '70s and Kenner licensed Palitoy to release their Star Wars toys in the U.K. (and Takara in Japan which is even MORE the hoot when you realize they were also releasing G.I.Joe as Combat Joe, and Barbie from Mattel!), then time passed and Hasbro buys out Palitoy and folds it into Hasbro International, then even LATER Hasbro absorbs Kenner and buys up the Star Wars license, so in a very roundabout way, that simple ad in a boy's comic magazine was FORETELLING THE FUTURE! OOOoooooooOOOOOOOO!

Did I scare anyone with that? No? Darn.
