davemerrillEvery week Mister Kitty (that's me and Shaindle Minuk) makes fun of a different Stupid Comic! This week it's "Rollercoasters" - a super team of roller skating super heroes that do absolutely zero heroing whatsoever. You'll question the very nature of people in dumb outfits pretending to be good guys! And inking!
The interesting thing about this comic; it has all the trappings of a super hero comic, the aliens, the skin tight outfits, the super scientific secret headquarters, the super powers - but nowhere did the writer bother to have our supposed heroes do anything heroic at all. In fact the main character is a jerk, the side characters are jerky ciphers, and the "action" in this comic consists of him watching someone nearly get run over, shoving a 13 year old girl down, and breaking some high-tech barbells. Thankfully this thing only lasted one issue.

Watch, it'll turn out these folk ended up pitching that show 'Moonbeam City' to Comedy Central.
(I actually enjoyed the hell out of this show,but then again I 'get' the whole Nagel painting vibe. Can't have a mani-pedi shop without at least one! :) )
