Yup, we're going on a summer holiday down to the beach, stopping along the way to see some folks get married. Looking forward to seeing the family and getting a sunburn.

You're not going to believe this.

I had a dream about a place like this several years ago. Only it was in a 99% empty mall.

The place had a 'laser tag' arena, the snack bar was pure '50s 'coca cola' style, and it was a 'frustration' dream because they had half of the games turned off to save on the power bill (they were on a second tier), the laser tag arena was nothing but small children that really were too small for the equipment, and the snack bar was shut down with a worn sign promising it was temporary and would reopen soon.

I hope Warp Zone keeps an eye on their machines. today's crowd is a bit careless about other people's stuff.

Man, I'd pour so many quarters into that place...

Still got a SEGA Center token from 1978 waiting for its turn in the coin slot, lo these many years. If these guys have a BATTLEZONE or RED BARON, play it one time for me!

Ohhh, Ed, you monster, I loved both of those games. And also was constantly frustrated by them, Battlezone more than Red Baron. I hated how sluggish 'your' tank was compared to the enemy, and the lack of turret rotation or gun elevation for indirect fire.

But then again I have to remember the game ran on a processor not much more powerful than the one in my Casio Databank watch, so... :)
