valentines

Last week was Valentine's, and I brought home some roses. Shain put 'em in a vintage 50s Birdseye orange juice decanter - it has those little chubby-cheeked Birdseye kids on it.



Here's a closeup.



We've had the thing for a while but darned if I'd thought of using it for flowers. It works better than the actual flower vase we have.

I think those kids are related to Peko.
