Those look like chunky omnibus albums - a lot of short-to-midrange 60s shonen manga have gotten reprints in that style. Most of Jiro Kuwata's non-8th Man catalog, for example.

I got a big fat whack of Ninja Sasuke manga at Book Off in Gardena in a similar reprint volume. Love that stuff, the cheaper the paper the better.
