Facebook, Twitter, LJ, even the Yahoo groups are blocked from my place of employment, so if this holds out expect a lot less posting from me during the weekdays. Of course the last time their blocking got this draconian it only lasted a day or so, but the higher-ups whom I suspected interceded on behalf of internet goofin' off, I don't think those higher-ups are working there any more. Let's just say it's been interesting.

So, here's what I would have been talking about for the next couple of days:

AWA's room block is open so get your rooms now, don't wait, they will go fast.

Vertical is going to release Tezuka's PRINCESS KNIGHT manga in English so I will no longer have to search for those bilingual Kodansha versions.

PAPRIKA is showing Feb. 11 at Innis Town Hall.

TCAF has announced manga artist Natsume Ono.

So there you go, world. That should hold you until I get back from the salt mines.

Sorry about the internets blockage. There's probably someone there either doing online poker or surfing porn and rather than telling that person to quit it, they'll just shut it down for evraboddy.

why did I suddenly do an 'Elvis' slur there? I dunno, it must be the fear generated by the BIG ASS GIANT STORM that is supposed to be on the way. Yeh, um, it's Michigan, it's Feb., Snow happens but they're acting like the guys in the command post in 'The Day After Tomorrow'. *sigh*
