I sorta kinda remember this from the anime mags of the day. I guess I'll have to dig thru the piles of stuff and see if I have anything in the way of free insert posters or 'love mail' or something.

It's funny, there's a number of anime series that got cut short back in the 'bloodbath '80s' that more than anything else appear to have been just ahead of their time by 10 years or so. Ranpou is one, Galatt is another.

Pity about the lack of a home video release. I suspect that, except for the dated references that the AmeriOtaku (tm) would struggle with, this show could actually be something that might actually sell in this day and age.
