Bands of crazed, vividly decorated youth roaming the countryside assaulting passersby with physical attacks - it must be the HUGGA BUNCH!!

Yes, the HUGGA BUNCH, able to bend rivers and change the course of mighty steel. It's all happening today at MISTER KIT-TAY'S SCHTUPID KOMIX!

HUGGA BUNCH is a trademark of NATIONAL GREETINGS CORP, a division of CHEMICAL & MINING HOLDINGS a subsidiary of ACSTARENTURE CONGLOMO INC, the employees and stockholders of which all LOVE YOU.

See, now, why do they keep doing Alice in Wonderland when there's this little gem just waiting to be the next Tim Burton movie? I ask you.

Tim Burton would try to make it dark, gritty and haunting...

... and then his brain would explode.

Of course I do. I don't want bits of Tim Burton brain to get on me. He might be infectious.

Hmm... you make a fair point. Suppose we locked his head in an airtight container? That should reduce the splatter quotient, or at least the radius.

Ah the 80's and the golden age of shameless cross-marketing (toyline spawns cartoon, cartoon spawns comic...) The STAR line as a whole could easily provide you with a boatload of material.

With the exception of Spider-Ham which was awesome.

Being reminded of Top Dog right now, shame I didn't keep an issue of that.

Dear god, I remember getting this very same comic in a shrink-wrapped package of assorted comics when I was 7. And the panel with the owl talking about the Beatles splitting up has been stupidly burned into my memory ever since.
