Two months in and work FINALLY gives us masks, "in case we feel it's necessary while walking through the plant".

Work has kind of picked up, actually. Took the bike out Sunday and the chain slipped right off while going over streetcar tracks on Dufferin, which means, since the bike has old-fashioned coaster type brakes, that I no longer had any brakes. Uh, I think I am going to trade that bike in. It's too large for me, it's too heavy, I need something lighter and more fun to ride. This one's a chore. I liked its looks at first, it's chunky and has a big cargo thing over the front wheel, but I don't do much hauling on that bike, I want something simple and fun for pleasure riding around the city.

Hamilton opened up their trails and we went over to Fletcher Creek and walked; it was the busiest I'd ever seen it. Beautiful warm day out. Sunday was cloudy, Victoria Day Monday was rainy and blustery. We got out and exercised every day of the long weekend, though.

We watched Toy Story 4, which was fine, better than 3 I think, had a terrific antique store setting that NAILED IT. We watched Frozen 2 which was all over the map, too many songs, homeopathy as a plot point, a direct to video sequel slicked up for the big screen. Watched the VVITCH again and it's great, terrific performances, creepy and disastrous and slow-burning. Also watched THE PYX, a Karen Black satan witch-cult murder mystery shot in Montreal with Christopher Plummer as a hard boiled cop tracking down the witch-cult, again, terrific performances, not nearly as sleazy as you'd think, kind of an important twist gets tossed out in the last act without any setup, movie doesn't quite earn it? Looks great though, early 70s Montreal looks like an Actual Large Metropolitan City in a way Toronto wouldn't quite get until decades later. Maybe still doesn't get, or won't if they keep knocking everything down.

Mewbert Mumphrey is sleeping behind my monitor. She's about four months old, alternating between ZOOM EVERYWHERE BITE EVERYTHING, wanting to be fed, and sleeping. The percentages are starting to equal out.

Doing a streaming Anime Hell on Friday night. I think it'll work out OK, the test run seemed to be fine, who knows? Let's see.
