weekend report
Nov. 19th, 2017 08:42 amRained like crazy yesterday. Started the day with a haircut and a trip to the dentist, and then we went over to the Value Village on Bloor because word got out of a giant dump of 4-for-$1 VHS, which deserved a look. There are always odd English-dub releases of Japanese cartoons that date from the 80s that I keep an eye out - one, the "Ringo Rides West" version of the second Puss In Boots movie, never made it to the States - but this haul was all mid 1990s Hollywood stuff.

So if you need VHS of True Romance, Titanic, Die Another Day, Mr. Destiny, you know where to go. We saw one guy literally filling a shopping cart.
Afterwards we went to the Christie cookie outlet and loaded up on cheap irregular cookies, as we do sometimes. Then it was off to the Pacific Mall for the purchase of cheap tech stuff and stocking stuffer gifts for the upcoming Christmas which is coming up faster than you think. We already had our Thanksgiving so we don't have to worry about that here, and the Xmas decorations are already coming in waves.
Then we got home and recorded audio for our upcoming Lo-Fi Landfill podcast, which will be up in a week or so, and you'll be able to download it from misterkitty.org and listen to it at Podomatic!

And what's up this week at Stupid Comics? We flip out in the fourth dimension with Flip Falcon, our 555th installment of Stupid Comics!
