Sending out good thoughts to those of my friends dealing with cancer and loss.
Sat: got a haircut. Went out thrifting & bought a new coat for $5. Would have made it to the Mississauga Comics thing that Jupe is at, but they closed the Guardiner for twice-yearly repairs and traffic was horrendous. Did kind of a wide swing around the city but still got into it on the way home. Went back out for dessert & had pretty bad service at the Thompson Street Diner. Cold and windy all day, though the sun was out.
Today is the Anime North meeting, Tuesday is a health & safety meeting early at work, Thursday night is Andrew & Chris' tenth wedding thing, Friday night is AN's Halloween thing that we will finally be able to go to now that I'm not working nights. October has just blasted right by.
This week's Stupid Comics is Archie being helpful - no, actually being helpful, with household repair tips and hobby hints and crafts involving acids and power tools, two things we don't normally associate with Archie...
Finally got to do a little sketching during the week and this is what it wound up leading to. Those debates were something else. And to think they used to be boring!
