back in time
Oct. 14th, 2016 07:44 amLearn how to treat 'em rough - caveman style - at this week's new Stupid Comics!

Also starring a thinly disguised Stan Lee! So what's been up here? Well, we had our long Thanksgiving weekend and we cooked a turkey on Monday. Sunday we went up north to Orillia and wandered around their downtown and went to their local comic shop and were amazed at the ridiculously high prices on things like beat-up mid 1960s issues of Jughead. I'm talking $60 for a book that usually sells for $5 or less. We did go up the highway to Webers, the cottage country burger joint straddling Hwy 11 with its own pedestrian bridge and where you can eat in railway cars.

Saturday we did our holiday grocery shopping and walked around in the woods down Hamilton way. Did some work de-cluttering and finding books and items that fail to 'spark joy' that are going In The Box for later sale/thrift/trash destinations. I've been getting back into the writing and drawing groove, but what with all the unpacking and de-compressing from AWA it's been a slow settle down into the old routine, which is actually the new routine what with my new hours at work.
Haven't seen any new movies, been watching the Mob Psycho 100 on Crunchyroll, catching up with the Kroll Show and Documentary Now and that season of Hoarders that started back up earlier this year and featured a scene where one of the hoarders visits an antique mall that we've been to several times ourselves in Ohio. Amazing coincidence, or cautionary tale?
