Join a talking sack of garbage, a space robot, a sentient trash can, and some kind of pea person as they battle litter across the great state of Pennsylvania in this week's Stupid Comics!

In other news:

I went in on Wednesday and had a bit more of the plantar wart on my foot cut away, and I've been limping ever since. I've been in four times so far and each time it gets a little more painful as they get closer to non-wart areas of my foot.

It's really warm here: high yesterday was 34c, or 93 Fahrenheit to you and me, and that's hot in anybody's book. It's cooled off some, we've had some rain, and it's going to be in the 80s for the weekend. I think right now we are in the absolute peak of our hot weather and six months from now we'll be looking back fondly on this week.

Been gathering material for AWA panels and digging through old off-air copies of shows that have never gotten a proper home video release and generally doing lots of archaeological work, and when I'm not doing that I'm back to working on that comic book story, finally.

Word on the street is that in September I'll finally be working daytime hours instead of the afternoon/evening shifts I've been working since... well, since pretty much 1999. Back when I started those shifts I was perfectly happy to stay up late and do my shopping in deserted all-night Wal-Marts. Now, 15-16-17 years later, that novelty has done worn off. I mean, for one thing, there aren't any all-night Wal-Marts up here. I'm looking forward to a schedule that's more in line with the rest of the world in terms of being able to do entertaining things on weeknights, being up on the weekends to go do entertaining things before everything closes, and seeing more of Our Friend Mr. Sun in general.
