It's interesting how the yard sales go, traffic is pretty brisk for the first 90 minutes or so, and then things slow down and there are just enough potential customers to keep you at your table for the rest of the day, and then in the last hour you start putting stuff back in boxes. That's what we did Saturday, we went down to the park and sold some stuff. Comics and records seemed to move, nobody bought any books, a few old magazines went. It was super nice out, we brought the radio and the folding chairs and an umbrella and the sunscreen and a cooler and had a fun day meeting dogs and neighbors. Shain talked to the son of the guy who created Captain Canuck. We didn't make a ton of cash, but we made enough to cover our table and our lunch and Sunday's lunch and some comics we picked up out in St. Jacobs.

Shain's pal Teri's back in Ontario for a few weeks, in Cambridge, and we went out and picked her up and did a little antiquing and got lunch at Ethel's in Waterloo, an old-school dive with a Charlie's Angels pinball machine, and then we tooled around Cambridge and got coffee in Guelph and got caught up on all our lives. And that was that weekend! Next weekend, Saturday is Steph's book launch, and then Sunday we're driving to Boston to spend a few days with that gang and then we're gonna drive up to Montreal via Vermont, and that's our vacation this summer, all Ethan Allan Green Mountain Boys / Timechasers / reported Albator mural in a restaurant in Montreal / Party At Neil Beach. Bring the sunscreen!
