the week of Dave
Jul. 31st, 2015 11:48 amHey, what happened this week? Well, Monday was the anniversary of that time Shain and I got married! 13 years ago.

Yup, been a while hasn't it? I think we've both lost weight since this photo was taken, and my beard went from super dark to patchy to kind of sad looking to where it is now, which is gone.

Actually I took it off two weeks ago. The face is slowly getting some color and the tenderness of the non-shaved areas is starting to fade, thank goodness.
Speaking of gone it turns out Rob Gibson, anime fan pal from way back, C/FO San Antonio guy, writer of Eternity's Harlock & Robotech comics, well, he passed away back in May. It's looking like another 80s vintage Atlanta anime fan, Bill Spurlock, is facing a terminal illness himself. So it's been a week of ups and downs.
If you need something to take your mind off the implacable forward march of time, please visit Stupid Comics this week, it stars a lithe muscleman in tights firing his eye-beams at the electrical death ray of a deranged inventor with the fate of New York City hanging in the balance!
