your weekend up date

No, wait, that was a few weekends back. What did we do this weekend? There was a local yard sale and I picked up some stuff.
It didn't impress the kitty much. Then we went out and did some pre-trip shopping - we're going to Vancouver next month - and did a little small town junking and enjoying the weather. Sunday I put some air in the bike tires and got it all lubed up for the season, the season being a weekend when our neighborhood isn't jam packed with people wandering every which way. Seriously, if it isn't a game it's a music festival or a commercial shoot or you name it, but Liberty Village is super crowded these days. Later in the day we went to High Park and got some sun.
Those are capybaras in the High Park zoo, BTW. The chipmunk is just visiting.
Stupid Comics this week is a Stupid Comic that I mentioned on Livejournal a while back, and merely mentioning this comic got me a warning from Livejournal that I was infringing on somebody's copyright, or something, and that they'd remove my entire journal if I didn't make nice.
So far this time we haven't received any legal notices, so it's a win for the good guys, I guess. The comic in question is amazingly bad on several levels and deserves wider recognition. And there are two issues of it, so that's something else we have to track down.
