weekend of stuff

Went out to the sticks on Saturday to an antique mall out in Strathroy, on the other side of London, in the sunshiney summery weather. It's a neat place with some neat stuff and worth a look the next time we're in that neck of the woods. Went back through London, went to Speed City Records and bought some records, had an old guy yell at us for entering the otherwise empty Kiwanis Old People Yelling Center For Yelling parking lot, parked downtown and wandered through the nice parks they have along the river, and then sort of drove in a southeasterly direction through farms and loose cows and dirt roads until we got to the 403. That was Saturday.

Sunday we cleaned up the apt, went grocery shopping, Donald and David came over and I showed 'em the Anime Hell they missed a few weeks back, and then I was up late drawing Zero Fighter . So that was the weekend. Stupid Comics #399 went up on Thursday and it's Richie Rich being smug and rich, which usually isn't the intention of Harvey Comics but comes through anyway sometimes. It's hard to believe, but this week will be Stupid Comics #400! Four hundred of these things. That's a significant number.

Shain is working on finishing her animated video, so she hasn't had an update of her comics in a few weeks, but they'll be back. In the meantime we are going to power through the next few weeks of summer and get ready for our trip out west to Vancouver and points south, which means we're going to miss Con Bravo in Hamilton, but them's the vacation breaks.

Next Saturday is the Trinity Bellwoods yard sale, though. Not missing that!
