belecrivain - your package arrived, and thanks!
Yes, it's Friday. The temperature has warmed to slightly above freezing and the sun is out valiantly attempting to convince us all it's March. Here in the Toy Factory life continues as usual. We DID watch the Oscars and I DID make spaghetti and it was all good. I know there's always a lot of complaining about why did this movie get this and why didn't they do that, but the Oscars are always a big spectacle that runs the gamut of emotions, from love to hate, from awe to cringe-worthy disgust, from admiration to astonishment that people whose only job is to stand in front of cameras and read words can't even get THAT right. So it's always entertainment.
This week for you:

More gas music from Jupiter and beyond with the second half of that Chariots Of The Gods soundtrack, which is actually entertaining listening, as opposed to the movie, or the many books that enabled Von Daniken to siphon cash from the gullible.
Stupid Comics is back with a romance story about the worst nurse in the world and her anger that her doctor boyfriend may sometimes place the welfare of others before HER needs.
Zero Fighter, Behind The Blue Door, and Georgie Girls all updated this week as well! TRIGGER WARNING: "Georgie Girls" is titled "Suicide Notline".
I don't know what we're up to this weekend; I may have to work on Saturday, there's a comic book show downtown that we're not going to because it's all TV stars and cosplayers and video games and precious little comic books, and anyway, we spent money at the Ancaster show last Sunday on mostly comic books, and there's only so much disposable income we need to be frittering away on comic books.
Our TV has been divided between fansubs of CATSEYE, polishing off the Macross series of ROBOTECH from that all-ROBOTECH DVD set, fansubs of the Shinsengumi-in-space-as-outlaw-bikers BAXINGAR, and the new series of CHECK IT OUT WITH DR STEVE BRULE, ya dringus.
