ninja robots ninja robots
Aug. 9th, 2013 12:30 pmif I had been tasked with producing a comic book titled "Ninja Robots" in 1986, I would have gotten as much reference material as I could find from the anime series Tobikage and just filed the serial numbers off. But not these guys.
Nope, they had to make their own, which is a terrible ponderous confusing mish-mash of bad 80s kung fu movie cliches, mildly insulting "oriental" stereotypes, and just a dash of ripping off H.P. Lovecraft. You can see it all for yourself at this week's Stupid Comics! Seriously, it's a really terrible comic. But it has ninjas, and robots, and that's all you want, right?
Meanwhile, Found Sound has some great GM folk songs all about safe driving! They're actually kind of catchy.
