why I love America by John Wayne.

This NOT the famous drunk university speech ("I'm not talking for clapping") but an actual LP of syrupy Americanisms delivered by John "Marion" Wayne, famous He-Man, in 1973 when the America he knew and loved was crumbling all around him. What are YOU marching for, son? Because let me tell you, if you aren't marching straight to Vietnam to kick some commie butt, then you're PART OF THE PROBLEM!
I love me some John Wayne movies - he's always great - but his gung-ho Americafirstism, coming as it does from a guy who never served in the military but is A-OK with shipping kids not old enough to vote across the ocean to shoot Vietnamese, well, it's slightly off-putting. Yeah, I know he felt guilty about missing WWII. There are other ways to work that out, Duke.
