yet again with the nazi zombies
Nov. 2nd, 2012 01:12 pmIs it just me or is everybody getting more spam comments on LJ?
This week we take another look at Nazi Zombies in Golden Age comics. You may think zombies are some kind of new thing, maybe even some kind of 1970 George Romero thing, but fact is that zombies have been a part of trash culture since the 40s and earlier. Case in point this weeks' offering, which is but one of many many examples of super heroes fighting Nazi zombies.

We kept the Haunted House sounds up at Found Sound for another week to give people the max amount of time to download it for their Halloween plans. What did we do for Halloween? Not much. I always work nights so I miss any social gatherings on weekdays, and anyway we live on the 5th floor of a condo building so there aren't any kids going door to door. It's enough to make one want to buy a suburban house, just to hand out candy to kids and decorate the yard.
We are getting a new couch. WOLF CHILDREN is screening at the Royal next week and we're gonna see that, it's the new film by the guy that made THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME and I liked that film a bunch. Nailing down plans for the Xmas vacation, cleaning up after Sandy (well, okay, we didn't have to do any of that), waiting for the first snow of the year, that's us.
